iPhone 7? Nope, it’s iPhone 5se
At any time, rumors about iPhone’s next generation is what tech news focuses on. While since the 4.7- and 5.5-inch iPhones came out, there have been rumors suggesting Apple would plan to introduce a new 4-inch device, both more affordable and smaller in size. And rumors about that have ramped up recently.
So what about the rumor iPhone 5se? Why it’s called iPhone 5se? Since the new device is reportedly modeled after the iPhone 5s, which is meant to denote its position as a second-generation or upgraded iPhone 5s, to be measured in at 122.90mm x 57.63mm. Curved glass? That’s still in doubt.
Anything else? Something new? As the rumors we’ve heard, the iPhone 5se may be on par with Apple’s larger-screened devices while coming to performance, but surely not sharing all of the features of Apple’s flagship devices. More specifically, the iPhone 5se is likely to have the A9 processor but with the limitation of 1GB RAM. And it only comes in 16 and 64GB capacities. To some extent, it looks like a cross between an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 5s.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 5se is said to adopt 8-megapixel rear camera, which is now used in iPhone 6, along with a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Everything is included, autofocusing, supporting for larger panoramas, capturing Live Photos but without 3D Touch.
— newest Bluetooth 4.2, faster 802.11ac WiFi, a barometer for tracking elevation and VoLTE support;
— slightly larger in battery capacity around 1,624 or 1642mAh to offer 10 hours of talk time the iPhone 5s offers;
— rumor for selling at $560, that’s surely not accurate. Or it could be $450 for the 16GB model.
So when will the new iPhone member make its debut? We all agree on a prospective lauch — early 2016, as Apple is said to plan to hold an event in March.
