If you have checked both your JBL speaker and S8 are working fine, try to pair them from the first step:
1.press the pairing button on the JBL.
2.press “Scan” on the phone’s Bluetooth page.
3.Find the JBL option and click the “connect” button.
If not working, try to reset JBL speaker or ask the customer service to verify if there’s any defect on it.

My S8 active cannot find my Roland JC-01 (version 3.0) I have tried turning on the phone’s Bluetooth while the speaker is in pairing mode as well as turning on the speaker while the phone is scanning. The phone just cannot find it. My S active still can.

This doesn’t work at all. Holding the volume buttons down just activates the voice activiation. Not in any way helpful!!!
