Charging 101: what’s the difference between Quick Charge and Smart Charge?

As phone charging is arguably the peskiest daily task, consumers can spend even less time charging and grab and go more quickly.

So how to resolve the contradiction between less time and full charge?

The only way is to enhance the charging technology and speed up charging.

While on the market, Qualcomm Technologies and EasyAcc exclusive Smart charging technology are both constantly innovating to bring phones and tablets a superior charging experience.

But what’s the difference between them?

Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, is one of the latest, fastest, most efficient charging technology to date. It is designed to charge twice as fast as Quick Charge 1.0 and to be 38 percent more efficient than Quick Charge 2.0. It offers a more granular range of voltages: 200mV increments, from 3.6V to 20V. However, only devices with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ processors can charge at those faster speeds. More details, please visit: Qualcomm.com

Smart Charge on the other hand could be one of the world’s first ever intelligent charging technology. It delivers the maximum electrical current to devices that have a 5V input voltage. For now, if your device has a 5V input voltage and doesn’t have Quick Charge, we suggest you go with EasyAcc’s Smart technology to get the fastest possible charge.

  1. What is the original charger input current of samsung galaxy j5 because I think my charger Got mixed up n now my battery is getting bigger n pumped

    • The input current of Galaxy J5 original charger is 5V 1.5A, however, I don’t think the mixed charger made your battery be getting bigger and pumped, generally speaking, the phone would only draw the current it needs, I suggest you to contact the customer service to replace the battery

  2. I am having Lenovo vibe k4 note.
My charger gives 1% of charge in less than 1 min.
But my powebank takes a long time.
Which powebank will suite best for my phone.

    • I figured that the battery capacity of Lenovo vibe k4 note is 3300 mAh, a very impressive value, while the battery draining quickly is one of complaints from users. I strongly suggest you to try EasyAcc 2nd Gen. 15000mAh Power Bank, it can fully charge your device around 3.5 times, and the multi-ports can meet your other device charging requirement simultaneously.
